Q: When can I start my dental plan?
A: All applications received prior to the 20th of the month will be eligible the first of the following month. Applications received after that date will be effective the first of the next month.

Q: Can I choose my own dentist?
A:Yes, you can choose any dentist that is currently participating with Golden West and that is accepting new members on your plan of choice.

Q: Can I change providers?
A: You can change providers by notifying our office prior to the 20th of any given month to be eligible the first of the following month.

Q: Can anyone join?
A: California residents and their dependents are eligible to join.

Q: How much can I save?
A: You can save up to 100% with no-charge benefits such as x-rays.

Q: Are cosmetic services covered?
A: Cosmetic crowns, laminates, and even teeth bleaching are all covered.

Q: Is there a deductible on either of these plans?
A: No.

Q: Is there a limit on the savings?
A:
There are no annual maximum benefit limitations on the SmileChoice plan.

Q: Is there an additional charge to receive the orthodontic or vision benefits?
A: A vision and orthodontic plan are included with the SmileChoice plan at no additional charge.
